Rare Knife Fish

Anyone have any information on this knife fish?
I thought I knew my fish and then I get hit with this amazing knife fish!
Hairtail Knife Fish is what I got so far!

Well,what I've found out is that the hairtail is not a knife fish,it is a type of cutlassfish and is saltwater.

Wow now I totally understand! The video I saw looked like it was freshwater and a dozen of them swimming like bgk would swim if they were in a pack.
That makes more sense saltwater and those fangs.

They call these guys ribbonfish here in Louisiana.

I don't much care for their looks but I have heard that they can be very nasty.

Yeah, spend half hour on youtYou and it becomes quite obvious a large on could put you in hospital.
