I need a little advise my Male keeps biting the crap out of my female and there no where near the breeding age any ideas on what is going on I mean there both around 15 months old I have a Pure Marble (Male), and Mantilla (Female) or could they be early signs of breeding???

Some rays are just bitey man. It could be an early sign of him being a good stud or a dominant breeder, but likely he's just a bossy little guy. I am not convinced it can be helped lol.

My female motoro had her first litter at 18 months so pregnant at 15 months. Your female is a mix of several types of rays so it's hard to say when she'll mature. It helps to have sand/hiding places for the ladies and multiple females may help spread out the biting. When I started my marble was with 3 females and bit them all but none excessively. Good luck.

Oh ya man, your male is getting there for sure. If not there already than close. Usually it's like 18 months I thought, so you're not far off rereading your first post.

It will only get worse, find a way to separate and let the female get older, which may take like a year still.

Look for a sperm plug in her or floating somewhere in the tank. It's not very likely at 15 months but also not unheard of. Other than that see if she develops humps

Oh ya definitely breeding signs. Mine was biting my 2 year old female but he only 10 months no sign of rolling. Had to separate them.
