hi so about almost a year ago i succesfully bred my male jd with a female rd, i kept two of the babies and gave the rest to my friends, i normally dont keep a heater in my tank cuz they do fine without it but i added one and found out both the babies are females as they are laying eggs. the jd(their dad) acts like hes breeding with them, guards the eggs n such but the eggs never hatch? this has happend three or four times so i took the heater out due to aggression levels. my question is, are the hybrids too young to breed or are they sterile. the Lfs thinks there too young and want me to keep em and breed em cuz they wanna buy em

thanks guys

the top pic was it as a baby, the blurry picture of the orangish whitish one is it grown up. the bottom picture is my texas parrot mix, grammode cichlid and a jack d

Are you sure there's a market for these even if they can be spawned?

I'm confused now. None of these fish look like a red devil with JD spangles.
Better pics of the actual hybrids please.
