Red Empress - protomelas taeniolatus - anal fin changes - female or male

Hi
Here is my 2in red empress right after I bring it from shop.


He/she have visible pointed anal fin.
After a month anal fin is not so pointed anymore.



Is it a clear sign that my fish is a juiced female or there is still a chance that it might be male?

The Red Empress might have been juiced, or might have been fed a high octane diet. No way to tell. I think it's probably a male, but only time will tell.

Appearances are that it was a juiced female, but I suppose it's possibly a hormonal change. Possibly as a juvenile, if it's now in a tank with other, more dominant males, that's slowed its development and caused it to go subordinate. But you wouldn't normally see male looking finnage revert to looking less male.

Just an update:
Until today I was sure I have a male.
I could see a little bit of blue in jaw and his fins was getting more and more red.

But today I saw eggs falling of this fish, I never see her dancing with any of my males, just eggs falling??
