hey which one of these design's would work best or should i go with somthing else and is it better to have a dsb or cheato or both?

I would use the second option. You dont really need the egg crate on the sides of the fuge. I would also use a dsb and chaeto just because your copepods and things that you are going to put in the fuge like to hide and get out of the current and use the dsb and chaeto to do it. Really the only thing I would change is that I would put some LR rubble inside of the fuge with the chaeto aswell.
