I re-copied the green terror x convict link, but if it still doesn't load, you can look up the thread "death row convicts". People kept harrassing the OP about it being impossible and she was fabricating it, and I don't think she's been back on the site.
It loaded, just read it.
Definitely gt con based on colors on the fry alone. Shame the op left, I’d love to see an adult pic.

I have a 75 with a 7” blood parrot, 1 5” RS Severum, 1 3” RS Severum, 2 small polar blue parrots and some corys with some giant danios as dithers. Yes tank is probably fully stocked but it was mainly a grow out for the Sevs for now. Blood parrots tube is down and is guarding a ton of eggs on a rock so i assume it spawned with one of the Sevs? Any chance of the eggs making it?
Hello. Interesting breeding situation you're in. Not to be off topic, but how long did it take for your BP to grow out at 7 inches? Mine has been 4 inches for about a good few months now and doesn't seem to be growing anymore yet. I know that BP's grow slowly but i'm just curious in knowing just about how long of a time it'll most likely be.

this particular BP I got from my LFS at around 5". She was alone in her tank for a while in the store so I took it in and have had her for about a year, year and a half. She's roughly 7" give or take. I have 3 other BPs that I got as small juveniles and they are all around 3" now but definitely are growing "slow". Seems as tho the big girl hit a growth spurt after I got her, she's probably a few years old. My same LFS has a 10" BP and another massive KingKong parrot in one of his tanks so I guess they can definitely get quite big.

King kong parrots will always be larger then blood parrots. Same can be said about red mammons always being larger then king kong parrots too. Had a 1ft, 10 year old, king kong before and he had some weight to him. Easily weighed about 3-4lbs. He may not have been as big as he could've been but he was definitely no slouch in size either lol.

We always hear of Heros spawning with Centrals but there’s never been proof documented with photos or videos showing that fry were produced.

Having said that, there was a thread I think here on MFK where someone spawned Australoheros with (I think) convicts. And they had pictures. They had a viable spawn and raised fry.

From a science perspective it would be interesting, but if you didn’t see them spawn you still don’t really have proof that the severum was involved. And then there’s the question of whether the eggs are viable.
