I am trying to provide as many large caves and passthroughs as possible while still maintaining a nice look. This is what I have so far. Please let me know what you think and would suggest. I am planning on adding a "root" type wood feature to the upper left hand side with some greens at the top of it.

Here is the whole tank. Behind the large structure that runs from the middle left is open area. This lets the fish hide if they need to.

i dig it, yeah some nice greenery will make it pop more

Thanks. Im thinking of doing some fake plants at the top of where the root structure will be. I had some swords in there once, but they just got tore up by all the digging. Any plants you have found work?

Looks great! I love the black gravel. The best kind of plants I have found to work are anchored and buried plastic ones. Never bothered trying live. Question for ya. What kind of fish is that swimming out of the pic? Looks like it could be a white saum. Got a full pic of the fish?

Awesome fish! Other than maybe a plant or two and maybe some driftwood, that looks pretty sweet!

Looks good, I think your plain is sound and your fish is awsome.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I think it looks good, but it never looks complete to me. I would love to add some weighted fake plants, but they always look so "fake". Anyone have a brand they like a lot? Im thinking something tall in the back somewhere.

Looks awesome... I'd add large pieces of driftwood on top of the rocks and maybe a couple of anubias nana attached to the driftwood for a more natural look.

For tall plants in the background you can use amazon swords but they might be picked on by some of your fish.

This is how my amazon swords look:
