Price is usually a good way to determine the 2 species apart as well as the fins and white stripe they have…or dont… hope u didn’t pay Leiarius pictus (sailfin pictus) prices as i would wager you are correct in that it is Leiarius Marmoratus (marble achara)…

No I paid $60 for him which I know is cheap for a leiarius pictus but thought maybe it had to do with it being so small. Oh well whatever it is I like em.
Fair price then at least for Marmoratus… would b nice to score a L. pictus for that price i agree lol…

Here is an update video on the little guy.
I think u may have scored for $60 bones lol… that white stripe is pretty prominent in the vid! Much more clear than the pic. Id say it is indeed Leiarius Pictus

I don't think marmoratus has the white stripe in the saddle shape (going upwards when approaching the cranial). So, I agree with Wed's reversal of the ID, looks like indeed the pictus.
