I have been hearing a lot about the SCALELESS gene in Snakes and Lizards lately. Here are some pictures I've found:

Death Adder

There is also a Scaleless Northern Water Snake, by Snake care book has a picture of it, but I couldn't find a picture online.

So the question is, I heard that Scaleless-gene reptiles need very humid enclosures because water tends to diffuse through the skin. Anyone on here keeping any? I'm trying to imagine my Garter Snake without scales

:WHOA: Those look insane! I'd imagine they couldn't live with anything abrasive. I wonder what one would feel like... suede?

I used to work for Eugene and I have held that ball python, it feels like if you breath on it too hard it will tear, very thin and bizarre.

Awesome! Yeah I've wondered if they would give you the willies holding them...thinking "Oh gosh I hope I don't kill it"...lol

seen them b4 , they look great but i would be worried of them tearing there skin .

That top picture isnt a Tree Boa though.......It's a Viper, I just cant put my finger on it tnow though.......

I couldnt have the puff adder.
It would just be way to tempting to hold/touch. aha
