Are there any fish that will actively school within the confines of a saltwater aquarium? I've been told that Australian stripey or squirrelfish would possibly school but would any others? I'm trying to find a way to add some action to my tank because after reviewing my stock list I'm getting pretty much all slow moving fish that will just sort of drift around looking for food. Any thoughts? I guess I'm sort of looking for the saltwater equivalent to tetras. They would need to be able to live with a moderate (3-4') moray eel and either a bluejaw or pinktail trigger as those will be the fish i would worry most about munching their tank mates.

How big is the tank? Bangaiis tend to stay in one spot. Fairy wrasses would work. Surgeonfish school and would be good depending on tank size. Tilefish would work. Squirrelfish (soldierfish) are great especially in large numbers. Any of.the larger damsel/chromis species.would be great as well.

Green chromis any other damsels would be hard to keep when older. They get real territorial. Maybe some triggers blue chin or pink tail maybe not too sure. Read that you can have more than one to a tank.

Just do a bunch of blue-green chromis since it's not like you'd be loosing an expensive fish in the event that one of those predators decides to vary its diet a bit. :D

At least around me, PetCo tends to have a bunch of them in their "Assorted Damselfish" aquarium, so you could easily get them cheaply & locally; they'd be good fish to add to the aquarium first, too.

Chromis would not work, at least not normal ones. Im looking at having either a white mouth, golden tail, skeletor, or possibly even a Dragon moray eel. So really anything 3" or less is ruled out. Also I might have a chance at getting a Mombasa lion which is would eat anything less than 3" for sure. Any thoughts?
