scored a yellow blood parrot today!

check it out! are these pretty rare? i have been trying to find one and stumbled accross this one after about 6 months of looking and asking for them i paid 34$ for him

really? In ok yellow is the most common colour. You can't buy them, but the ones you buy at petsmart walmart etc usually fade to yellow

I would say light orange is the most common, I don't see many yellow ones outside of the $10 Petsmart rejects. Very nice parrot!

I have never seen an all yellow BP here. They mostly have the red and orange ones. Looks like a nice specimen.

By the looks of it its natural, its very obvious when they are dyed.

Looks dyed to me, just because it's such a bright clear yellow, but it could be a natural one. It's common here to find yellow parrots but I haven't seen many with such a clear yellow color for less than $25 here. The fader parrots we see the most of are yellowish, with orange tones like what Kaliedoscope posted.

I've never seen a pure yellow before. Grats, its a beautiful fish! I am full of jealousy.
