Senegal bichir personality?

Hey y'all. I might get a senegal bichir so I wanted to know what they are like. Do they handfeed? Do they like to be pet? Will they follow you in the tank? Please tell me!

I had 1 Senegal poly that would come up to the glass as for hand feeding or petting never had one do that. If you are interactive with the Senegal you may get it to it to do those things but not guaranteed.

Senegal are a common Polypterus specie and if you have a Petsmart in your area. Also sold online The Wet Spot is a good vendor.

Senegals are the ones you'll find most commonly at your LFS, captive bred younglings run $8-10 in the US usually. They are mass bred for the market so are very available usually
