Sexing Bumblebee cichlid?

How do can you tell the difference between male and female bumblebee cichlids when they are smaller more common selling size? Cuz all I have gotten are males and they just chase everything all over the place

Females stay yellow with black bars and have a bluish tint on their dorsal fin, males get almost completely black. But the best way to tell is by venting
