Anyone have experience with feather rock and Synodontis? The rock is sharp and from what I have read no one has had trouble with their scaled fish getting cut up, but my hands are definitely all cut up from preparing it. I have tried to grind down the edges a bit, but I would feel a lot better if I knew anyone had used it with with any Synodontis and experienced success in the past.

Had a Synodontis Angelicus with tough skin was in with rocks and aggressive Mbuna African cichlids.
When I used to keep Africans and synodontis, all the decor that I used were just lava rocks. There seems to be no problem at all.
I've used Feather Rock with Pimelodus pictus and Synodontis lucippinnis without problems.
