Show us your adult mbuna!

I have a school of 4 yellow tailed acei. The 2 males are just over 6 inches & the females are 5 inches. Acei are great fish to watch because, unlike most mbuna, they like to stick together and swim as a school. It's hard to catch in a photo, but when the light hits this guy right the different shades of blue are beautiful
I don't keep many Mbuna, but here's pics of my male White Tail Acei & Yellow Tail Acei. They are both about six inches long. The White Tail is more dominant. I agree, Aceis are a great Mbuna to keep.
I think I replied to one of your previous postings about bumblebees and how they turn black.
This guy isn't even showing his black rn, he's about 6'' and quite aggressive, haha lol
I also have a few 6'' yellow labs they're all freaked out cause I turned the lights on and went pretty close to them.
I also keep a very nice red top hongi but he loosed all of his color when I took the females out, probably gonna breed him soon.
The water is a bit funky cause I just fed them.
Oh my, amazing fish and pictures! I have not had the blessing of being graced with the beauty of adult mbuna cichlids! I can't wait til I have some fully grown ones! Share more pictures if you have them! I will definitely have to look into some acei's! I think I'll try the yellow tail some day

Not sure if he is full grown yet but he is 6-7 inches. One of my favorites.
Awesome fish thanks for sharing! I've seen pictures of both and I want to try keeping both, especially the Cynotilapia Afras, I've seen some cool pictures of these guys with like a bright stripe in their dorsal fins. Why doesn't yours have that?
