Beautiful shrimp mate. I kept crystal red and crystal black caridina in Australia years ago. The water in Perth was high pH and hard as nails. Had to fannangle to get it right to keep them alive, well & breeding.
What can you tell us about your water parameters & treatment process? Tap or RO? Additives for pH adjustments or buffering?
Is that shrimp sand you have as substrate?
Cheers 🍻

Weird I’m in Perth now and I find my water really soft KH of 3.5 at most GH 4.

As of now I’ve been using just tap water and adding More products for gh, kh as well as their water conditioner all catered towards shrimp. I also used shrimp king soil as my substrate.

I’ve been gone a week and I haven’t had any casualties and the tank seems to be thriving. I pulled some grass and gave the tank a quick trim. That’s a bigger pain in the arse than I was hoping.
