I have a chance to buy a group of these but am unable to find much info after more than an hour of searching.
Has anyone kept them?
Anyone have more detailed info on them?

I don't know about japonicus specifically, but I have 2 sicyopterus gobies. They eat encrusting green algae, diatoms, and biofilm. They like lots of oxygen and are great at escaping aquariums (can climb glass and jump). It's best to make sure they have enough algae to graze on before adding them as they eat a lot
