So I have my 8x3x3 tank with my rays, arowana, gars and some pbass.. I want too slate/tile the bottom of the tank, if there any way I could do this without having too take all the fish out because then that's a no go for me. Ide also want too somehow seal the seams but that seems impossible without the tank drained.. I was thinking of pouring sand in the cracks but the rays will just push that sand right out. Anyone have any experience with this

You can tile the bottom with the fish in it…they’ll just get out of the way. Don’t think sand would work between the cracks.

I’ve sealed things underwater with JB Water Weld with fish in it with no issues. However, not sure if your rays will mess with it before it has a chance to cure.
