slight redness around the top of arowana gills

my silver arowana has a slight redness around the top of his gills,
just wondering if this should be something to be worried about.

I just bought him a couple days ago, and hes been like this since I got him.
He is about 2 feet.

my silver has loads of red on him on his gills and fins maybe hes just got a nit of colouring to

Hey, this was a while ago, lol. But was your arowana ok? My jardini kind of has a red spot that looks a bit depressed into/above each gill symmetrically.
