Here is a video of my bichir tank and a picture of my newest bichir.
Yeah, my endlicheri is one of the nicest I've seen of the species and is really active. Probably my favourite I own. I wish my big ornate had come out, she's probably pushing 15" now. Lapradei have so many variants and potential subspecies that you definitely won't regret one. And thanks, when he fires up he's an awesome fish.Love the endlicheri and the ornate! Those are the two I have as well. May look into a lapradei to add to my stock. I’m super jealous of your red shoulder severum! Can’t find them out here.
Can't unsee. Is it me or does the new guy look like he's planning something truly diabolical?
I'm assuming you're a member of the lower mainland and B.C. Facebook groups? Make a post in there looking for rare bichirs and one of the most knowledgeable bichir people you'll come across will almost guaranteed reply. They're not cheap though, $150-$700 range depending on species. Or search for recent posts about bichirs, and you'll find one where he replied. Sometimes they come through Fish Addicts as well.Nice fish and set-up. Mind me asking where you get your Polys from? I'm living in the Fraser Valley and selection is limited. Picked up a small 3" Lap today but have only seen endlis, ornates and sens since living here.
