Please help..
I read some articles online and it said to use sphagnum peat moss with aged water for the fresh water fish...this is what I did..
1. bought the sphagnum peat moss( organic non chemicals).
2. placed it in the 5gal. jug and let's the water dripping for the hose down to the holding tank.
3. took 3days to fill up the 300gal. tank..
now that I'm not sure if it is safe to use this aged water for my fresh water fish..
anyone with the same concept of aging water and used it on their fresh water tank..?
PLEASE ADVISE...

I always used straight tap water 4 water change for the past 10+yrs. My fish is acting strange and not willing to eat n so their colors have fated also.
I was thinking if I can add sphagnum peat moss filtering into age water would give me a softer and lower ph water for the fish.
the aged water has this light brown color after it filtered from the sphagnum peat moss. My question is can I still use the aged water for the water change?
has anyone from MFK ever used this kind of age water before?
advance appreciations.
