Sponge filters keep floating!!!

My sponge filters (new) will float out of nowhere I was tild to squeeze them so I do that and come back later and they r floating

I put stones on top of mine.

Some take a while to sink. Just squeeze them in the tank water when they float and they'll sink eventually.
