How does this look for a 108 gallon tank ?,,,,does it look strong enuff?,,,,I will be covering it over with a black cloth, or I may close it in with pine boards and put a door on it,,,,,,

In my opinion, I would add more wood. Check out a design I did for a 55g...

The thing is that if there is a force appried laterally to your stand (i.e.: not perfectly leveled...and they are never perfectly leveled ;) ), then the stand won't hold the pressure. Check oout the back and lateral bars on my stand...

Ramman, try resaving the picture as a jpeg file, (I bet it is a btmp now) and resize it to around 600 pixels wide so itwill fit the standard page.

your house
first off you NEED a middle support, the middle and left and right sides of a tank are where the most pressure is applied.

2nd, the bottom bar is crooked, rendering the whole stand useless..

buy yourself a leveler, or if your fancy, maybe even a laser level ;)

If the stand isnt leveled, scrap it..

180 gallons is about 1440 pounds, water alone... considering a gallon wieghs about 8 pounds..

good luck, but dont put the tank on that stand yet...
