that looks sharp(smart, cool, neat-o), you should stain the top and seal it...

all thats left is the foam and liner, mar i reconend a non-silica based sand sunstrait... most fish prefer a sandy bottom, om my pond i will be using a small rock/sand... play sand works well, it would be a good contrast.

oh BTW the filter i spoke of is almost 900gallons and its in my on-going write up in the pond section, although i enlarged it a bit at the end of the year and i plan on lining it with cinderblock so its inside diamiter will be 4x5x6, Building a 10,000-13,000gallon pond, this would be my second year of building, third if you inchude planning and druling...and saveing.

size, about 10000-13000gallons(will probly end up around 13k,14k), pumps are 7500gph eachX2, and right now i have mudfish and hopes/dreams in it :D

trial and error sound right to me, thats the way i do every project then once im done they say ohh, dam you should of done it this way or hay man my cusin works for a concreet place you could have got it for free... I want to kill those people...

as for making somethin look small, i should show you my wallet, smaller ponds cost less... remember that, your what $500 in, well im 4-6... thousand... and a year away from compleating, well it all goes well. i admire your work ethic and the rate that your compleating this, its a real feat and a exelent final product... as for the filter, fill it with boiballs/lavafock/plastic scrubbie sponges for bio filtration and s0me of that fine white filter stuff for polishing, it it gets green add a turbo twist uv filter... you dont even want to know what i have planed for mine..., thi filter is the easyest thing, if you where to use some of that easter basket stuffing that would work too., did you get a pump yet, that guy off ebay is realy cool about prices and shipping, he has a 3000gph pump for sale now.
