oh, p.s., my parents have ok'd my remaking of our pond, so i think im going to have to steal you design. but i'll have to still sink it in a foot or two and raise it another foot. damn snow. also probabl;y make it 8x8 cause we want lots o' koi. (bigguns)
pm me any tips/tricks that you incountered? be most grateful.

wait did you decide to seal it or anything? would that also help againt rotting?

thats where im stuck.
the ply will rot in a few years unsealed.
timbers are made for weather,last a few more years then ply.
i dont want to paint but i want it to last.
i might do like a thompsons water seal on the sides of the ply that you will see.
and just cheap paint where you cant see.
i been on break from this but i will be back on it once i get my fish situated.

guess im going to seal the wood.
almost got the filter figured out "in my head" :screwy:
then styro
liner add water
:D
im in no hurry at the moment cus the koi are still small.
i will finish just in time for them to go in.
will start back up in a week or 2 ;)
