Hi I'm new to ths forum I'm just after a bit of help I'm stuck With my 220 gallon tank. I am running a FluvaFx5 all pond solution ef1000. I have sand and driftwood large rocks. I'm after a predator tank/community fish but not shorter than 6 inches adult size. Must have lots of colour and be very active. I have kids so they always running past the tank. Not in a quiet environment. Any help would be great thank you

Not to keen on polypterus.

Not seen any fish by me for sale from lake tanganyikan.

A.C could be an idea though

Also it's down to your preference if you like a few mean cichlids like salvini cichlids for example you would have less cichlids than if you were to have a tank of peacocks

How many peacocks would go in 220g? And would they breed like mad?

You could have a big semi-aggressive community; severums, chocolates, true parrot, uaru, etc. Large beautiful fish that will get along, for the most part

Well I usually go by this rule (divide your tank gallon by 4 and that's how much u can put in, also that's a bit on the heavy side in my opinion) if you stock more on the heavy side it would reduce aggressions but that means more tank maintenance, if you stock on the lower side some of the less dominant peacocks could get bullied but less maintenance (keep in mind peacocks are less aggressive than other Africans so it shouldn't be much of a problem). Also about the breeding if I were you I would choose males since males are usually the one with better coloration and even if they do breed your other peacocks would probrally eat the fry if you don't do anything.
