Was at Fish Planet in Deerfield today and came across this beauty! He was in a tank with an Albino Clown knife as well. Was really interested and inquisitive with people who came up to his tank. Wish I had the coinage to fit the bill for this guy! Someone should def scoop him up!

First pic it looks like an albino more than a plat. The rest look like a reg silver :-s. But that's what I see. I'm not expert tho . But agree. It's a nice silver!

The importer states he brought three in from a breeder in Malaysia. 1 went to Fish Planet, the other to Old Town Aquarium in Chicago, and I believe third went to a store in Michigan. In person it is more easily identifiable as a platinum. It really pops in the tank. Carries a pretty hefty price tag $1,800. Ya pay for the bling though lol

I'm just going off of what the owner is reporting it was sold to him as from the importer. Too rich for my blood. Not sure about albino....Would it have red eyes if albino?

Ya albinos would have red pupils from certain angles. If the lights not hitting it right, it could still look black

It really looks like an albino silver, I just bought one a week ago. the Red eye is very hard to see even in person, only at the perfect angle will the red pop. Someone told me when my aro gets bigger i will see the red alot more.
