Can anyone suggest some good tank mates (If any?) for a Red/Rainbow Wolffish? At most I'd like to have at least 2 other fish.

I'm planning on keeping him in a 40 gallon breeder tank.

r u keeping it in the 40 for life?
they can do that?
Well I read the Rainbow Wolffish grow to only 8". My tank is 36" long and 18" wide, so I figured that'd be fine.

If I'm HORRIBLY WRONG, please, someone correct me.

I have two bichirs and a rope fish in with mine. They get along fine.
That sounds great, I have Bichirs and a Ropefish already.

THEY WILL kill each other, very hard to keep together
See I figured that... =\ I might still test it out but I'll be crapping my pants the whole time probably.

You've planted the seed of doubt good sir.

I think he meant more then one Red Wolf would kill each other.

I have mine all in a 55 and I plan on keeping there for a very long time. They have been fine for a month so far. The Red Wolf is 5" and the Bichirs were 3.5" when I introduced them so he could have easily eaten them. I was scared he was going to when I introduced them because he rushed them like they were food but he ended up stopping and just staring at them.

Every once in a while I'll see him chase them off but most of the time they are fine, they even chill in his cave sometimes.
