Been doing third shift work for 9 years now, and even on my day off, i'm wide awake.

I've been doing it for 6. What I do for my days off is just stay up until my wife goes to bed. So there's two days every week that I'm up for about 30 hours.

I hear that, of couse, sometimes the wife yells at me for staying up, when she's trying to sleep.

haha. My wife tells me to take a nap. I usually get pretty grumpy after the 1st 24 hours that I'm awake.

I trained myself into the schedule.. Sometiems I stay on the work schedule... Sometimes I dont... I decide on the last day I work usually

I always stay up on my last day of work. It gives me a 3 day weekend.
