These are the ones I picked up from FLP the other day.

Female #1 she is the darkest out of the bunch.




Female #2 yellowest/lightest

No pictures of the male yet, he doesn't venture out much besides during feeding.

I had one of those once. Really neat. Traded him in to make space for some mouthbrooding bettas. Still wish I had him.

It seems not many people keep these and other Telmatochromis in the US like they do in Europe.

Here's a picture of their setup. I have since added five more shells to each end of the tank.

Have a question, should I keep the shells at both ends or bunch them all up in the middle?

For shell placement, I'm not sure about this species, but for other Tang shellies, I'd definitely spread them into 2-3 separate piles.

What kind of rock is that? It looks cool with the way you have the lighting.
