the elusive for my aquarium

Hello I am looking for a small black bullhead catfish for my future black catfish aquarium ( its already set up) knowledge the only ones i can catch around where I live is mud catfish, brown bullhead, channel catfish and yellow catfish. I live in grottoes you know anywhere I could get one please let me know p.s I have a 100 gallon aquarium for one of these fish and am currently building a 6 foot wide, 4.5 foot deep pond for it if my aquarium is to small.

I've never seen them offered for sale that I can recall. I'd be interested too.

One or two keepers on my memory reported here on keeping this fish, one guy had ~30+ or them in a large tub.

The Virginia fish and game department sight said they live in va so I was wandering if anyone caught any and if so where

I feel dumb I went fishing earlier and caught a black bullhead I didn't even know it was one until I saw the black wiskers

I caught one this morning he is in my 100 gallon aquarium he is about 8 inches

So when you were asking where to find a black bullhead, you had already had one swimming in your tank? What did you think it was, yellow?

It may not be easy to tell black from brown.
