I bought these labeled as "red aureus", which was incorrect. First there is no such thing as red aureus, only gold and blue. Once the fish grew out more it looked more like maculipinnis. I haven't had much luck with maculipinnis because they seem to get bloat easily. Every one I got from this LFS had white stringy poo. I need to get them from a better source.
Love the aureus, and would love to keep them one day.
