Kept cichlids for a long time now and can never remember a fish spawning at such a young age/small size. Lucked into an awesome pair of motas at the LFS. Female is 2" and the male maybe another half inch or so. Very healthy sized spawn also.

Some of the centrals start breeding really early while others like for example M. argenteus need to be quiet old first the first spawn.
