can tropical fish eat boilies.. im sure they will as they mostly eat everything but will it do any harm? will it effect bad/good in long run?

i dnt meen feed daily but maybe as a treat. only asking because there full of stuff to makes the fish fatter and stronger for better fishing.. maybe make the trpical fish grow quicker (something like that anyways )

I really don't see the point in feeding any aquarium kept fish boilies....
even a carp. With the exception of the highest quality baits, most boilies
out there won't even be of comparable nutritional value of even your
lowest grade aquarium feeds. There is also the issue of synthetic
flavorings, dyes, preservatives and other agents designed to leek
into the water and boost attraction to wild fish, that could foul
your tanks water.

There is also the hardness of the boilies to consider. With the
exception of catfish and a few others, carp and other cyprinids
with powerful pharyngeal teeth are really the only fish capable
of consuming them anyway. That was the whole point of the
boilie in the first place,a bait that was less attractive to and
more difficult for other species to eat,in turn more carp
selective. Not likely to be found desirable by most cichlids
or pirahna,etc.

Stick to feeding your fish pellets, flakes and live foods....they'll
thank you for it!
