Turtle Wax rubbing compound?

Can I use this stuff to get scratches out of my acrylic? I'm not having much luck with Novus, I must be doing something wrong, I feel like I'm using enough of it and working slowly, I'm using a small buffer. So thats the reason why I want to try the turtle wax stuff. If anyone has experience please shime in! Thanks
