I was wondering what is the best veggie to use when baiting pest snails??? Also does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to trap the snails I believe they are common pond snails,They are in the tank with my breeding colony of Red Cherry Shrimp and I want to be able to trap the snails but not the baby shrimp, I might be asking too much....Thanks

I boil a piece of spinach and put it a glass jar, which I then place in the bottom of the tank. Come back every now and then to remove what I caught. Works pretty well.

Romaine lettuce and zucchini have worked for me. The bait itself is the trap; just lift it out and most of the snails will come with it, while any shrimp feeding on it will slide back into the water.

i prefer blanched zucchini as it holds together better and make less mess....or frozen french cut green beans.

Just keep an eye on them. When they're loaded with snails pull 'em out. Shouldn't take too long.

You gonna feed them to your CL's? Mine dig on some pond snail action at least once a week... CLick clik clickkk click!

Cool right on I will try that shot glass idea, and Yes I'm feeding them to my clowns they love me for it tooo
