Hi,

Has anyone had any experience or opinions on the UNS 90L - 21 Gallon tank?
I bought it months ago, but have such a hard time finding a stand for it at a budget-friendly price.

- The UNS stand is super expensive.
- The Aqua Worx stand is a little less expensive, but is sold out.
- Many tables with similar dimensions don't have the weight capacity.
- Workbenches look great to me, but tend to be too deep. I want to set up the tank in my bedroom, and it doesn't have that much space. I don't think having the table extend too far in front and behind the tank looks good.

At the moment, I'm considering building one from 2" x 4" wood boards.
I spent the last two weeks staining and coating a really nice slab of wood that I cut to the same dimensions as the bottom of the tank (35.4" x 11.8"). My initial plan was to use this slab to support the tank on my Imagitarium Brooklyn Metal Tank Stand (29.5" x 12.5") since it is slightly shorter in length than the tank. However, I don't think I'll like the look of the sides of the tank overhanging the stand. A modern, flush design looks much better to me.

The Imagitarium stand looks good with the tank, with or without the wood piece. It also looks safe. I have the equivalent for a 40 breeder.
One thing I noticed is that something is not level, judging from the water line (slightly lower on the left by ~ 1/2"). Possibly it is the floor. That could be easily shimmed under the stand's left side (not under the tank!).
Your landscape and plants also look very nice, BTW.

Sorry! I should have labeled the images. The first picture was my current setup.
- Aqeon standard 20 gallon long (29.5" x 12.5").
- Imagitarium Brooklyn Metal Tank Stand (29.5" x 12.5").
The second picture was what will be the replacement setup.
- UNS 90L tank and wood slab is (35.4" x 11.8")
I put the wood slab on the current tank here for reference of how much it will be overhanging once I switch the tanks:

I noticed this right after I posted the picture! I adjusted the feet and it's leveled now.
Thanks!
