UPDATE:Flowerhorn x Red Devil 6 1/2 months w/pics

Hey here is an update of my red devil and flowerhorn hybrids. Before only one fish started peeling and turning yellowish, now the biggest one in the tank has begun peeling into a pinkish color also 2 others began peeling as well. The other fish look pretty much like regular flowerhorn still. Plz Comment

Have you been harvesting your plants?

Just playin man. They're ugly for sure. But, I have a feeling that they will grow out of it. Keep us posted.

Wow some really look like devils and others appear to show more of the flowerhorn traits.
Looks like they are going to look real cool when they are older. I like the bigger ones in the tank.

yeah thanks, i think some will just grow continue to grow looking like flowerhorns and only a few with the diffrent traits will actually change color. this is not nearly half of the batch of babies, my friend has the other bigger batch of about 50 in his 55 gallon and none have started peeling like my batch. I guess cause i change the water and feed more ?? Also i have about 30 more in my pond.

Well, if you decide to sell some, I'd stick with the ones in the first eight pics and stay away from trying to sell what's in the ninth pic. The fish will probably make you more money anyway.
