Using terrarium glass for plywood aquarium

I got a free 33 gallon terrarium the other day and i filled it today for about an hour and it didn’t burst. I also measured the glass which was 1/4” (6mm) thick.
I want to build a plywood aquarium and use the front glass panel as my viewing panel.
The viewing panel would be the size of the front glass (36” L x 18” H x 12” D) (The plywood will also only be 18” H because i want to keep a safety factor and adding a brace around the glass would add 2 - 2-1/2” to the height of the aquarium, which i dont want) and the total gallons would be 55-70.

Would this glass work for this project?
Any other advice is also appreciated as I’m new to working with glass and waterproofing etc.

Thanks

Well it's glass so it's no different from aquarium glass (except for thickness, but it's thick enough), so the glass will do fine.

A plywood 75 gallon will cost more than a used 75 gallon all glass on Craigslist
