Vampire crab info??

I researched online about these guys, but cant seem to find much information that i need. Can someone answer these questions
1. can I keep moon crabs with these guys?
2. how long before my crab can regenerate his legs?
3. how many should i keep in a 10g?
i had an impulse buy when they were on sale for $9

Hi. I've just recently bought my first vampire crab and like yourself, I too struggled finding research on these little fellas but after a week of online research I did manage to find some information on them, so I will try to help you as best I can

Vampire Crabs are best kept together with their own species, I'm not even sure if different coloured vampire crabs can be kept together.

I think after they molt, their limbs will start to grow back but I think its the same with most crabs

2 crabs are best kept in a 10g tank. The males are known to be quite territorial so maybe 2 females or a male and a female would be best together

$9 that is a bargain. I paid £8 for mine, which is about $13 I really want to get another one though
