Vieja I.D?

Picked up this Vieja yesterday. I was told it was a synspilum, it’s around 6”. When do they usually start to colour up properly?

Looks like a synspilum/melanura to me
They’re late bloomers as far as adult coloration goes. 10”+. But yours have beautifu adolescent coloration already
