I'd like to see someone take a crack at sexing the damn thing. It has a blocky head so I'm gonna say it may be a male. This species, along with most Vieja and Paratheraps species, is hard to sex IMO. How long is it?
It is a nice-looking fish for sure.

Hope I'm not intruding too much but I'd like to know what's the difference between Paratheraps and Vieja. I know several Viejas have become Paratheraps now. Which ones and why? Maybe someone can answer... Sorry for being out of topic. :)
