Most brackish species are very tolerant of salinity changes as they occasionally occupy tidal areas with daily fluctuations of salinity/temp. Although in this case, a GSP doesn't sound like a good fit for this tank. A lot of puffers are wild caught and will harbor parasites( especially Walmart) and need a full quarantine treatment...
