Hello everyone!
Wondering about what is the most efficient way to keep the water heated. If maybe keeping the ac on, helping the heater to maintain water temperature, i would get less energy consumption and less evaporation, since there is less difference between inside and outside water temperature.
Anyone have an idea/certainty about that?

I’m kind of on the side of keeping things simple but I’ve found keeping a tight fitting lid keeps temps stable and minimizes evaporation. I Have one tank that’s completely sealed on top and I never have to top off and the heater is on less than the others
