water salinity and evaporation

I was wondering seeing salt cant evaporate wouldn't that cause the salinity level to increase as the water evaporates?

Yes that is true you make your tank too saline, and often why DI water is used as make up water, instead of salt mixed with water for make up, unless you take some out with a water change.

I would always check weekly, if you use a sump water will evaporate faster vs canister filter.
