Hello all,
I've had this colony for the past year, have enjoyed too many breeding cycles to count, haven't lost a single member, but am ready to move back to a South American setup.
The ratio is approximately 3:1 to 4:1 female to male ratio
I'm looking to sell them at cost to another enthusiast for $700 (that's $25 a piece).
I'm located in Los Angeles area and am unable to ship.
I will be in town until 08/19, and after that will be out of town for 2 weeks before I come back again. Trade can happen either before or after!
Thanks!
ADDENDUM #1: I also have 20+ fry that have survived after being spit into the tank and raised as part of the colony (I used to strip and sell, but got lazy). They range in sizes but are also all for sale:
~1 inch @ $8
~2 inch @ $12
ADDENDUM #2: I also have a small colony of Eretmodus Cyanostictus.
I've had these guys (GREAT companions for Tropheus, and really funny to boot) for as long as I've had the Tropheus.
I have 8 of these guys, and they are a mix of Karilani, Kigoma, and Kipili. Too difficult (for me) to tell them apart most of the time.
I'm selling them at cost @ $20 each, or $150 for the group.
These are BREEDING prolifically, but the fry are super small, and they do not survive the main tank unless stripped. They're probably 1/4 the size of a Tropheus fry.
