What cichlid doesnt dig?

gonna have a semi planted tank and would love salvini and possibly snook but was wondering what other larger cichlid wont dig up plants that would work with salvini. Maybe JD who knows throw me some suggestions on cichlids that wont generally uproot plants
 
was looking for slightly more agressive
 
damn just curious if the severums and snook can live with salvini? would just be 1 or maybe 2 though
 
was planning on severums just worried if they can handle the aggro of the salvini may just nix the salvini and go with some kind of knifefish
 
If you're going to have a planted tank, severums may not be the best choice, they demolished all traces of greenary in my tank.
 
Cichlids+planted tank= Bad idea. The only cichlid I got to live in my planted tank was a chanchito, and seeing as how rare they are, I doubt you'll be getting one. Other good monster fish would be a BGK or Fire eel if your tank is big enough.
 
salvinis can be kept with plants so can firemouths sometimes but those two can't mix severums love to eat plants or just rip them up the only cichlids thet don't harm plants are ram cichlids discus and angels i can't think of two many

also snooks aren't very aggressive they may get beaten up by the salvini and if that doesn't happen the snook may out grow and eat the salvini
