I recently picked up a new member to my tank, an L204. He is about 3" and hides out during the day and any time people are around so i cant tell if hes eating scraps and has a full gut and im not completely sure he is getting the nutrition he needs since they are not big algae grazers. Help me out by posting up some info and what you feed your L-204.

zucchini, wood, and Tetrabits

I just got 4 of these awesome fish as well, so I am also interested in the responses. So far, I've kept them in a tank full of driftwood (mopani, malaysian, and an unknown type) and fed them (and their tankmates) a variety of stuff: shrimp pellets, spectrum cichlid pellets, algae discs, freeze-dried plankton, bloodworms, and zucchini.

Great looking fish. So i have tried all kinds of vegetables and fruit such as carrot grapes, celery and zuchinni and i will be picking up algae wafers soon, but i have read that l-204's prefer a high bulk fiber diet so the wafers are not necessary as they contain alot of protein. another issue is the zuchinni does not sink so maybe ill try some weight to keep it down. it Seems to be doing ok and has been more active or the past week so im assuming it has been eating. Anyone know if there are certain foods i should be staying away from?
