I’m looking to mix up the diet of my plecos and see what they like more than other types of veggies. I’ve had tons of success with broccoli with stubborn plecos, had some success with pumpkin, and with my curent batch, cucumber isn’t too big of a hit.
What are some of the things you feed your plecos? The more abnormal the better! I’d love to see some photos as well if you have any. Just share your experience here. Also, if you can, if your vegetable you’re recommending breaks down quickly and fouls up the water, please also mention this. Thanks!

They’re spread out among 3 different tanks but I may rehome the bn.

My L190 and L191s love sweet potato and yams, watermelon, zucchini and pumpkin. My L14 and L185 only eat zucchini for veggies but will eat silversides, shrimp and tilapia. L007 only likes hikari sinking cichlid gold and silversides. L114 only eats hikari pellets.

I’ve never tried sweet potato, I’ll try some of that! My L14 has never touched a veggie, only pellets, shrimp, and bloodworms. Haven’t tried any other meaty foods. Maybe I’ll try a piece of zucchini.

I can work with that, if they don’t eat it, I will!

Repashy Morning Wood, they love it!
I’ve never even heard of that. I googled it expecting some explicit results and apparently “morning wood” is a real fish food lol. I ordered the 3oz can to try it out. Seems like a lot of prep but it’s got a Royal right on the label so it must be good for them haha.

hahaha, yeah, I mix some up in a bowl, put it in the refrigerator and then slice off some thin pieces of it and drop in the pieces where my plecos like to hang out

Awesome and it just sinks right down? I saw some videos of people putting it in ice cube trays for perfect portions. My 190 is pretty big. The sunshine and 191 are as small as my bristlenoses.
