looking for some circulation, not looking for anything fancy. i already have one of those massive 2000gph + dc controlled wave makers. but due to the heavy load of driftwood im still getting more dead spots then i would like. im going to add 1-2 more wave makers to combat the issue. would just like some suggestions on what models people are having success with.

I have only owned one wave/circulation pump and that is the Aqueon Circulation Pump 500 GPH. the reviews on amazon are decent, but with some complaining that it breaks easily. I have had good luck with this pump, and it is everything I would want from a $12 pump. It might be good at getting a little current to your dead spots.

edit: just saw your post was for amazon Canda, which puts this item much more expensive. $12 vs $44. Merica

Not less than $40, but I use the Jebao SOW 15 and another Jebao wave maker that both are closer to $60-70 US. I use them in a 480 and 360 gallon tanks with stingrays. I don’t run them on the highest settings, but needed the higher models for the stronger mounting magnets to be used on 1/2” acrylic.

I have a couple Sicce Voyager II wave makers, rated at 800 gph, they were less than $50 each, I know Sicce makes some low gph versions for around $30.

Above the action they produce in my 180..
The riffles don't span the entire length 6 ft, but get about half way, depending on how they are aimed.

i ended up going with a pair of sun sun jvp 201s. 1500 gph dual adjustable nozzles. a pair for $39.99 canadian. only bad review i could find was the suction cup letting go. if i need i can order waterproof neo magnets for $10 and convert to magnets.

What size tank? Give this a try.

So after watching the video, I had to try it myself.
My first attempt, so not as done with as much finesse.

First, the normal flow out of one spout on my return manifold.

Now with the added cloverleaf.
